Conceived by the company ALA.rquitectos and implemented with the collaboration of engineering from PRPC Engenheiros, OHMSOR, Augusto Macedo and José Rosendo, Casa Acreditar is a tangible testimony to the power of the community to unite in favor of a noble cause. Under the visionary direction of Mafalda Ribeiro Ambrósio and João Gomes Leitão, the architecture of this building reflects not only a physical structure, but symbolizes a warm and comforting embrace for those who need it most.

The Client, Acreditar - Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Cancer, has been a beacon of hope since 1994. Founded to support and accompany parents and young people facing the challenge of pediatric cancer, Acreditar has been an invaluable source of support, offering comfort and understanding in times of uncertainty and pain. Their national presence in Portugal is an anchor for many families, providing them with reassurance that they are not alone on this difficult journey.

At Casa Acreditar, care goes beyond physical walls. It is a commitment to empathy, professionalism and understanding. Every detail was planned with the aim of creating a welcoming and familiar environment, where families can find emotional support, practical assistance and a sense of belonging.
